"Integrative Approach"

IV, or IVMT is the therapeutic use of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants administered directly into the bloodstream. The advantage is that an IV can bypass the gastrointestinal system where many nutrients may get “lost” due to a poor digestive system. In addition, higher amounts of certain nutrients can be administered in a healthy, safe manner.

This is a painless process, thanks to our lab manager, Yolanda. Yolanda first receives orders from your physicians with a customized mix of nutrients, and creates an IV bag for you. You are invited to relax in a zero gravity recliner, eliminating all pressure from the lower back, with blankets available for your comfort.  Some of our patients bring a book or a laptop to surf the Internet while receiving their IV.

Pre-formulated nutrient blends that have been clinically tested are given for certain diseases including Epstein Barr Virus infections, Mercury toxicity, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, migraines, weak immune function, cardiovascular plaque, and environmental toxicity. The nutrients used in IVMT are those that are required by the body to function on a day-to-day basis. Due to illness, stress or certain medications, some of those essential minerals and vitamins are depleted, and IVMT can help to replenish the necessary stores of those nutrients.

Your doctor may recommend specific treatment for any of the above conditions or for nutrient deficiencies, but our patients also get IVMT treatments for extra energy or better immune function. Many of our patients opt to have an IV before traveling for vacation, during times of stress or to replenish lost electrolytes from heat exposure or chronic illness.

IVMT is effective in treating:

  Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia
  Pain
  Upper respiratory tract infections
  Cardiovascular disease
  Asthma

Chelation Therapy
Heavy metal detox or Chelation therapy is the administration of chelating agents to remove heavy metals from the body. Symptoms of heavy metal poisoning are neuralgias, increased sensitivies to perfumes or odors, headaches, and other symptoms. People who work with pesticides, with paint (auto mechanics, house-painters, print-shops), and hair dressers are exposed to larger amounts of chemicals. Some patients grew up near dump sites or near rivers that were heavily polluted. Through an initial test we are able to determine the levels and types of heavy metals one may have been exposed to. After initial testing, nutrient recommendations and a schedule for chelation therapy will be made. Chelation for heavy metals is performed intravenously with agents designed to target the metal or metals that are at elevated levels. Chelatining agents used are DMPS, Alpha Lipoic Acid and EDTA.
