Is the Epstein Barr virus what’s behind your fatigue?

Note from Dr B.

It’s good to be back! I started this new year as a family of 3 and now expanded to a party of 4 – life is good. The past 2 months have included a lot of adjustment but we are now in a good rhythm and getting back to routine.

My time away from work and the clinic was beneficial not only to tend to my growing family, but it also allowed me space to reflect upon the things that I truly am thankful for.

Upon my return to the office, I jumped back into work responsibilities (with the continuous help and support of my IH team). Patient feedback along with cards, notes, gifts all made me aware of how I was appreciated and that the work that I am involved in really does change lives.

Many patients and friends ask if it is hard to come back and I will admit – it is bittersweet. Yes, I do miss those sweet faces in the morning as I drive away but that sadness is quickly replaced by pride and gratitude for the job that I have working alongside motivated people to learn more about themselves and to make their lives better. I have a purpose and being back to work reminds me of that.

This WHY is what gets me out of bed in the morning and motivates me to keep going. I hope that we all find our WHY because truly, that is what matters and will fuel the change in your life.
