IV, or IVMT can help to relieve pain by delivering a high concentration of micronutrients directly into the bloodstream. This can reduce inflammation in the body, provide important antioxidants to fight free radical damage and strengthen the immune system. This is a painless process, thanks to our lab manager, Yolanda. Yolanda first receives orders from your physicians with a customized mix of nutrients, and creates an IV bag for you. You are invited to relax in a zero gravity recliner, with blankets available for your comfort. Some of our patients bring a book or a laptop to surf the Internet while receiving their IV. Once comfortable, Yolanda will insert the IV. Initial weekly IV's are recommended. Your physician will suggest maintenance IVMT based on your well-being.
Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is an injection therapy that uses a dextrose (sugar water) solution. Dextrose is injected into the ligament or tendon where it attaches to the bone. A localized inflammation is created which causes the body to increase blood supply to that area, increasing nutrients supplied to that area. Thus, the body is encouraged to heal itself.
Physical Therapy
Spinal manipulation has been proven to provide relief for a variety of illnesses. Other physical therapy includes TENS units which can be sent home with the patient to relieve chronic pain.

Acupuncture
is one of the oldest forms of medicine we use today. With origins in China well over 2,500 years ago, acupuncture has received tremendous attention in the past few years as a result of numerous studies demonstrating its effectiveness in providing pain relief. Acupuncture uses sterile, hair-thin needles that are inserted into specific anatomical points in the body. This can be a very relaxing treatment, but for others, they are energized by acupuncture. The needles are so thin, that they are barely perceptible. For effective relief of pain or other diseases, it's important to receive a consistent series of acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture has been used to treat fibromyalgia, nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy, smoking cessation, addiction, stroke rehabilitation, headache, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, low-back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and asthma. |
