A Note from Dr. Roz: Conscious Communication for Stress

New Interview with Dr. B
June 4, 2018

Hello everyone, Dr. Ruiz here!

It has been a little less than a year since I began my journey at Integrative Health. In this time, I have been welcomed with open arms by colleagues and patients alike. I have learned so much, and every day is truly the start to another exciting adventure.

Residencies in naturopathic medicine are very important for our healthcare system. They allow new doctors to learn under experienced practitioners, and allows our medicine to grow by creating more doctors that know how to practice in an efficient and safe way. This alone has completely changed my life, as well as the lives of patients around the globe.

When I started my journey in health, I envisioned a practice where my patients would have a voice and a choice. I imagined a practice that was a healing and happy place; not just a sterile environment where patients were treated like odds on a medical rubric. I imagined healing people in a partnership with patients.

My dreams have come true.

As my first year of residency comes to an end, Integrative Health continues to look into the future of healthcare and is continuing our residency program. The program is rigorous. As a resident, I was given the ability to shadow our doctors, working one on one with Dr. C reviewing cases and directly providing care to patients.

I am able to learn every aspect of our practice, from starting IVs (special shoutout to Easton!) to answering the phones. Every member of the team works really hard to make this endeavor look easy, but I can tell you – from personal experience – that it is certainly harder than it looks!

It is my honor to announce that in a couple of months, soon to be SCNM graduate Tiffany Turner will be joining our practice as our first-year resident!

Integrative Health is committed to your health. We are also committed to the future of naturopathic medicine and the health of generations to come. Next time you are at the office, make sure to say “hello” to Tiffany, and know that you are playing your role in helping make our dreams come true.

Thank you for trusting us with what matters most!

In good health,

Dr. Guillermo Ruiz
